Welcome! This is a group dedicated to the peaceful coexistence of RoyxEd and EdxWinry fans. Over the years, we've come to realize that the fandom constantly wars with itself over shipping matters, and that it's detrimental to enjoying FMA as a whole. Therefore, we've created this space for fans to contribute their love for either (or both) pairings in a stress-free environment.

Remember, guys: we all have our preferences when it comes to character pairings. But we have one thing in common, and that's our love for Fullmetal Alchemist.

It's probably a good idea if you're a fan of at least one of the pairings when you join.

The Perfect Soldier Chapter ThirteenI have no excuse for the late update.

But this chapter is much, much longer than it was suppose to be! That makes up for the late update *wince* I guess…

So someone mentioned that they wanted to see Ed's new memories, rather than ones we already know of from the anime. So here you go. I totally just used that as an excuse to write a flashback.

The Perfect Soldier Chapter TwelveAU: I played around with this chapter for hours. Seriously, ages and ages. I'm still not happy with it but… whatever, it's the best its going to get.

NOTES ABOUT THE STORY: Just thought I'd mention, this story is kind of like my own little AU. By that, I mean that I'm using things from both Brotherhood and the original (mostly the original as I like that one more) and my timeline is all out of whack. This is on purpose. The homunculi still existed but their roles were a lot smaller and insignificant than in the animes. Some are dead but some are alive. And yes, this story does have a destination. The Perfect Soldier Chapter Ten*cringe* I hate this chapter but after going through it several times I couldn't think of anything to do to make it not… sucky.

NOTE: I've changed the one insane alchemist to a group of insane people (although not all alchemists). I mean, one alchemist is not enough to call all those troops to the East.

Summary: Set in the time Ed is on the other side of the gate, pre-Conqueror of Shamballa. 'It was ironic, he realized bitterly. He had spent most of his life denying those around him, pushing them away and continuing onward, alone. And now, in his darkest moment, when he needed someone (someone to just hold him and tell him it was alright) there was no one.' Alone and hurting in a war-torn country, Edward dreams of his Roy. Songfic. RoyEd. Inspired from the beautiful Les Miserable.
